Why Our Care Is Different:
Our Story
For Dr. Holly, providing exceptional physical therapy isn’t just a professional standard it’s deeply personal.
As a child, Dr. Holly learned firsthand what it feels like to be overlooked in the traditional healthcare system. Year after year, she failed school vision screenings and was referred for follow-up eye exams. Each time, she arrived hopeful for answers, only to be told nothing was wrong and that no further care was needed.
Years later after seeing more than five eye doctors she began struggling with more frequent headaches, difficulty reading, and light sensitivity. Still, no one could explain why. Eventually, a brain MRI was ordered to rule out a tumor. While the results were thankfully normal, she was once again told there was no need for further evaluation despite her symptoms continuing to worsen.
By her first year of college, the challenges had become overwhelming. For the first time, she couldn’t keep up academically, and she knew something still wasn’t right.
In a final attempt for answers, she saw another eye doctor. This experience changed everything.
Instead of rushing through tests, this doctor took the time to listen. He asked thoughtful questions, gathered a thorough history, and truly connected with her experience. Most importantly, he asked the right questions ones no one had asked before. Rather than asking whether she had “double vision,” a term she didn’t understand, he asked how many of an object she saw. Her answer was simple: two.
That moment led to a diagnosis that had been missed for over 18 years, severe double vision. With prism lenses prescribed, Dr. Holly immediately experienced relief. She could read comfortably. Her headaches disappeared. And in that moment, she understood the life-changing power of truly being heard.
She went on to complete seven demanding years of education to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy, carrying that experience with her every step of the way.
Because of doctors like Dr. Douvele, Dr. Holly learned that great care starts with listening, really listening. Today, that lesson shapes everything she does.
At 603 PT & Wellness, clients are never rushed, dismissed, or reduced to a diagnosis. Care is rooted in connection, curiosity, and a deep respect for each individual’s story. Dr. Holly is committed to understanding not just where something hurts, but why, and then educating her clients to create lasting solutions, not temporary fixes.
This is physical therapy re-defined because it has to be.
That experience shaped how Dr. Holly approaches care today. She believes that lasting results don’t come from rushed visits, generic protocols, or treating symptoms in isolation. They come from listening carefully, asking better questions, and taking the time to truly understand each individual’s story. That philosophy is the foundation of care at 603 PT & Wellness and is reflected in our intentional, results-driven 3-Step Approach, designed to not only relieve pain, but to keep it from returning and support long-term health and performance.
